repurposed vintage american industrial "machine age" bookends using a random assembly of welded joint gears or sprockets salvaged from an old chicago factory. the solid steel components were likely fabricated by the browne & sharp mfg. co., providence, ri. each assembly is welded against l-shaped heavy iron brackets. the bookends have been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 7 1/2 x 4 x 7 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
