highly unique and unusual early 20th century freestanding twisted iron table base or stand with a uniform black enameled finish. the exact fabricator is not known. heavily reinforced with riveted joints for added strength and stability. the pyramidal-shaped feet are comprised off cement or a hard composite encapsulating the iron ends. measures 23 x 17 1/2 x 29 inches.
