highly unique and visually distinctive vintage american mid-century modern sculptural brass table base in the manner of karl springer. the dining room table base is comprised of brazed joint tubular square channel brass metal twisted and turned in a pleasing configuration. the nicely aged surface patina has been left untouched. the base contains no signatures or markings indicating an exact fabricator and/or designer. the tabletop (possibly glass or stone) was removed long ago. measures 40 x 23 1/2 x 28 inches.
