truly remarkable all original early 20th century antique american industrial hand-painted single-sided "operator will operate" informational sign salvaged from a shuttered milwaukee foundry. the incredibly robust heavy gauge steel sign is brightly colored despite considerable surface wear and tear, consistent with age. the shadowed lettering is most impressive. the polychromatic antique industrial sign was likely painted in-house, possibly by the foundry's paint shop. very rare and no doubt one of a kind industrial factory sign.
