distinctive american industrial stationary side or occasional table featuring a heavy duty base comprised of salvaged steam boiler return pipe sections welded at various angles. the solid weathered and worn maple wood factory workbench tabletop is supported by two oversized steel flanges mounted along the underside of the table top. the heavy gauge welded joint tubular pipe base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the tabletop has been lightly refinished. the "new old stock" pipe sections were fabricated by or for the boylston steam specialties co., chicago, il. 28 x 50 x 29"
