unique c. 1930's original american depression era cast iron "explosion proof" nautical or marine light or lamp designed and fabricated by the crouse-hinds company, syracuse, ny. the handheld lamp contains an oversized drop handle and cage. the cast iron condulet retains the original socket and cord. the industrial lamp has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the fixture contains a unique on/off rotary switch at the top.
