single original depression era american industrial folk art galvanized steel and bent copper machinist's tote salvaged from a tool & die stamp factory located in chicago. the lightweight metal tote has been thoroughly cleaned and brushed down to bare metal. a clear coat lacquer has been applied to prevent surface corrosion. the cabinet or raised edge tote is made of steel, with the bent and folded copper handle brazed along the inner wall. the machinist's initials are prominently displayed along the outer front edge. measures 18 1/4 x 9 x 8 inches. measurement includes the handle.
