original and intact c. 1920's american antique medical stationary four-legged bent tubular steel hospital examination room stool designed and fabricated by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the reinforced stool contains a distinctive built-in diminutive trash can with drop-down door. the bent tubular steel legs are reinforced with all-welded joint solid steel rods or stretchers. the circular-shaped seat is made of pressed and folded steel. the stool has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. 13 inches x 11 3/4 inches x 22 inches.
