original and largely intact 18 inch antique american terrestrial globe fabricated by a.j. nystrom & company, chicago, ills. the orb was designed by w. & a.k. johnston of edinburgh and london. the globe is in good condition consistent with age. the ornamental cast iron stand with largely intact oxidized copper striping is free from cracks or breaks.
