pair of original and intact antique american industrial depression era four-legged stationary machine shop stools likely designed and fabricated by the chicago wire chair company, chicago, il. the two matching stools contain welded joint bases for added strength and stability. the old orange paint finish is weathered and worn on each of the stools. the nicely worn circular-shaped wood seats are tightly affixed to the bases. each stool is equipped with a protruding bent steel heel or footrest for added comfort. priced for the pair. measures 14 1/2 wide x 24 high. seat measures 12 3/4 in diameter.
