pair of original c. 1930's american industrial intact and very heavy all-welded joint custom built oversized sawhorse bases salvaged from a notable chicago foundry complex currently undergoing demolition. the two matching saw horses consist of bent tubular steel legs reinforced with stretchers throughout. the horizontal -beams contain a bare metal top (from repeated use over the decades) and blue painted within the recessed regions. the two sawhorses are very similar to several other custom-made bases manufactured onsite. the yellow and blue paint finish has been lightly cleaned. great overall surface patina. priced for the pair. measures 48 x 21 x 30 inches.
