matching set of early 20th century original antique american highly detailed ornamental cast brass "marquise" pattern residential doorknob backplates designed and fabricated by the norwalk lock company, norwalk, conn. the french renaissance style escutcheons contain a mostly uniform surface finish. the backplates were salvaged from a milwaukee "foursquare" style residence demolished earlier this year. a whole "suite" of marquise pattern hard was recovered from this home prior to demolition. see other listings. the thimbles remain in great shape, considering age. priced for the pair.
