pair of original and highly desirable clean and compact low-lying american antique industrial heavy duty cast iron lathe machine bases designed and fabricated by or for the porter-cable machine company, syracuse, ny. the two matching bases have been thoroughly cleaned, brushed, sanded and sealed with a clear coat lacquer to prevent surface corrosion. the legs contain reinforced feet with pre-drilled holes for anchoring against the floor. the freestanding bases contains the manufacturer's company name along the arch top stretchers. great overall condition with no cracks or breaks. priced for the pair. measures 23 x 7 x 23 1/4 inches.
