pair of original c. 1880's antique american eastlake style ornamental cast brass "ivy" pattern interior residential upper window sash pulls plates designed and patented by john j. kennedy of branford, ct. the matching plates were salvaged from the extant david c. cook residence located in elgin, il. the pulls have been refinished and treated with a black enameled inlay used to accentuate the highly detailed ivy leaf field pattern. the pulls were fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. measure approximately 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches. priced for the pair.
