lot of three matching c. 1915 ornamental apothecary cabinet pilaster ionic capitals comprised of wood and gesso (i.e., mixture consisting of a binder mixed with chalk, gypsum, pigment, or any combination of these. each capitals features foliated scrolls and centrally located bellflower. the original polychrome enameled finish remains intact. likely fabricated by the decorators' supply co., chicago, il. each cabinet ornament measures 3 1/2 x 3 inches. priced for the lot.
