refinished c. 1930's original antique american industrial custom-built standing foreman's desk salvaged from a recently shuttered twine factory. the stationary work station is comprised of cold-rolled sheet steel reinforced with angled iron corners containing both riveted and welded joints. the cabinet contains two open-ended compartments divided by a single rolled edge shelf. the sliding drawer has a uniquely shaped curved drawer pull and lockable hasp welded firmly to the cabinet. the exterior has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the top has a three-sided rail guard with angled or slanted sides. great overall condition. 23 1/2 inches x 15 inches x 35 inches.
