original c. 1950's american industrial four-legged stationary factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers mfg. co., chicago, il. the backless stool has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original circular-shaped solid maple wood seat is tightly affixed to the angled iron base. the four riveted joint stretchers provide added reinforcement. the threaded metal level mounts can be adjusted for stability of the stool while seated. base diameter measures at 18 inches, stool height measures at 26 inches, seat diameter measures at 14 inches.
