intact and all original antique american ornamental brass and cast iron interior residential fireplace hearth fender attributed to the bradley & hubbard manufacturing co., meriden, conn. the oversized fender is accentuated on the corners with cast iron volutes. the two opposed side panels are topped with ball finials. the three-sided fireplace rail guard retains the original nicely aged surface patina. measures 54 x 11 x 7 inches.
