late 19th century antique american chicago athletic assoication building cast iron plant stand base fabricated by the phoenix iron foundry, cincinnati, oh. several matching stands were discovered in the basement during its transiston into a boutique hotel. the diminutive three-legged stand has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. only one available.
