original late 1920's american antique depression era interior residential wall-mount lavatory combination cup and soap or towel holder designed and fabricated by the crane company, chicago, il. the lavatory flush mount wall accessory is comprised of cast iron with original white or vitreous porcelain enameled finish. the oversized ring likely supported a detachable dish, or may have held a wash cloth. the circular-shaped backplate contains two opposed holes for mounting purposes. discoloration and surface wear evident. two matching bathroom fixtures are available. priced individually. mount diameter measures 1 3/4 inches. holder measures 5 inches x 6 inches x 5 1/2 inches.
