original 19th century antique american flush mount exterior commercial store door thumblatch handle designed and fabricated by the norwalk lock co., norwalk, conn. the highly distinctive door pull is comprised of cast brass with a nicely aged surface patina. the detachable handle and thumblatch lever are original. age appropriate wear consistent with age. the long rectangular-shaped backplate contains floral motifs against a fish scale field pattern.
