original c. 1950's american vintage industrial four-legged heavy gauge steel chair or stool designed and fabricated by lyon metal products inc., aurora, il. the pressed and folded metal stool contains a richly colored navy blue paint finish. the backrest is supported by two bent steel brackets mounted against the underside of the perforated seat. the all-welded joint stretchers provide added stability and double as a footrest. the diminutive steel disc shoes are all intact. base measures 15 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches, seat height measures 26 inches with backrest at 39 inches.
