original and intact vintage american industrial solidly-constructed four-drawer benchor tabletop storage cabinet designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, ills. the reinforced cabinet contains a mostly uniform brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the sliding drawers retain the original channeled handles fastened tightly in place. the cabinet was likely fabricated in the 1940's. the "small" parts" storage unit was salvaged from a chicago factory complex. measures 17 x 13 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches.
