custom-built salvaged chicago american industrial four-legged work stand or station salvaged from a chicago area iron foundry. the c. 1930's depression-era tall table contains a welded joint angled steel base with stretchers for added support and stability. the unusual tabletop is comprised of solid iron with a textured finish. the stationary workman table has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat protective finish. measures 20 x 1 6 x 36 1/4 inches.
