early c. 1920's antique american original and intact interior hotel ruby red glass exit pendant light with the ball-shaped shade or globe fabricated by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the single electric light fixture retains the original single-sided baked-on white enameled lettering against the brilliant red colored glass globe. the fixture has a ventilated brass "uno" shade fitter with the original set screws. the gold enameled steel chain and spun brass ceiling canopy are in great overall condition with a uniform surface finish. the paddle shell socket has been rewired with period appropriate off-white colored rayon cloth and/or lamp cord. the antique hotel exit light is ready for immediate installation. measures 6 inches in diameter x 27 inches high.
