single antique american industrial original and intact flexible gooseneck table task lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the robust weighted base table lamp contains a hubbell enameled green reflector with rolled rim. the office desk lamp retains the original bronze patianted finish with some surface wear consistent with age. the coiled gooseneck arm is rigid and retains it's form when adjusted. the brass shell key socket has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth lamp cord. the weighed base is comprised largely of cast iron with a patinated brass cover.
