antique american industrial stationary heavy cast iron dairy cream separator base repurposed into a low-lying side or occasional table. the uniquely-shaped cast iron base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the base contains two flared legs with feet or floor plates with pre-drilled holes for anchoring firmly against the floor. the circular-shaped opening contains a newly added old growth oak wood tabletop that has been sanded and sealed. the diminutive metal undershelf provides additional storage space. great overall condition. base measures 16 inches x 14 inches, seat height measures 20 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches.
