late 1930's american vintage industrial repurposed bench grinder base side table fabricated in part by the dayton electric mfg. co., chicago, il. the heavy duty factory machine shop stand or base is comprised of both cast iron and steel with a brushed metal finish. the three-legged floor stand is tightly secured to the heavy gauge steel tubular steel pipe or post. the stand contains a newly added rock hard maple wood tabletop (recycled from a bowling alley lane) that has been lightly stained and sealed. 12" x 38" x 34-1/2".
