completely refinished robust heavy gauge all-welded joint tubular steel antique american medical hospital garment and/or bandage rack designed and fabricated by or for the frank s. betz co., hammond, ind. the newly added old growth pine wood shelves were added by the former owner of the shelving unit. we brushed the metal rack down to bare metal and sealed with with a clear coat lacquer. the welded joint rack is structurally sound and rigid. the wood shelves are not attached to the frame so replacement with some other material can be easily achieved. the shelving unit contains brass "shoes" or discs for added stability. measures 36 x 12 x 34 1/2 inches.
