exceptionally well-built and incredibly heavy duty c. 1918 antique american industrial valve grinding machine base repurposed into a multi-purpose and/or side table with the use of a newly added custom built table top. the robust cast iron legs were designed and fabricated by or for the defiance machine works, defiance, oh. the cast iron legs and contoured apron with platform have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the rock solid tabletop is comprised of recycled railroad boxcar flooring comprised of oak. the custom top has been sanded down and sealed for a more presentable appearance. the wear and tear found throughout the wood floor tabletop provides added character and distinction. remarkable and durable materials with a very clean and simple look.
