refinished oversized interior st. louis residential oak wood fireplace mantel with opposed fluted columns and laurel wreath

impressive late 19th century oversized refinished oak wood fireplace mantel salvaged from a st. louis residence undergoing demolition. the american victorian-era mantel was fabricated by or for the hornet mantel company, st. louis, mo. the darkly stained quartered solid oak wood mantel features two opposed fluted columns with ionic column capitals. the frieze is accentuated with an oversized laurel wreath. the trent company tile surround is available. the antique salvaged fireplace mantel is in good overall condition, considerng age.
