single early 20th century american industrial two tier stationary iron foundry work stand fabricated by the the new britain machine co., new britain, conn. the two matching cast iron decks with raised edges are supported by four heavy gauge tubular steel legs. the iron and steel components have been refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the oversized work table measures 29 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches.
