completely intact early 20th century wall-mount fully adjustable and/or extendable scissor arm comprised of brushed and sealed steel interlocking flat metal plates with rounded edges. the extension and contraction of the arm is achieved by pulling or pushing the diminutive handle located at the very end of the arm. the wrought yellow brass grommets are original and intact. the two opposed cast iron flush mount brackets allow the arm to be amounted in a variety of locations. the solid steel cylindrical rod or pin allows the arm to pivot 180 degrees. the exact fabricator is not known.
