original and remarkably intact depression era antique american industrial refinished early 20th century antique american city of chicago bridge cautionary light designed and fabricated by the crouse-hinds, co., syracuse, ny. the c. 1930's american industrial bridge light contains a heavy duty cast bronze two-part socket housing with multiple threaded rods designed to keep the bottom top and bottom plate secured against the richly colored ruby red fresnel lens. both the fixture and lens were fabricated by crouse-hinds. all metal components have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. excellent working condition. measure 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches.
