original american vintage industrial "new old stock" no. 3 heavy cast iron steam pipe grease trap designed and fabricated by the boylston steam specialties co., chicago, il. the cast iron pipe fitting contains a mostly uniform brushed metal finish treated with a clear coat sealant. the grease trap exhibits deeply embossed lettering. the base flange provides added support and stability. ideal lamp base.
