refurbished american depression era antique industrial factory foreman office desk or table lamp possibly designed and fabricated by the highlands mfg. co., muncie, ind. the diminutive lightweight pressed steel table lamp contains a bowl-shaped reflector or shade with original cast brass ball finial. the weighted base contains stepped rings and sunken center surrounding the partially fluted or grooved pedestal arm supporting the shade and socket housing. the desk light fixture has been rewired. the brushed metal finish as been sealed with a clear coat finish. measures 9 1/2 wide x 12 1/2 high.
