c. 1920's old american interior factory office four-legged adding machine base fabricated by or for the burroughs adding machine co., philadelphia, pa. the base consists of four curvaceous tubular steel legs reinforced by a centrally located rigid cast iron bracket bolted firmly against each leg. the new added tabletop is comprised of varnished hardwood. the versatile industrial furniture piece can be used as a stool, side table or plant stand. brushed metal with clear coat lacquer finish. measures 14 x 13 x 25 1/2 inches.
