rare softcover “handbook of Westinghouse watthour meters” published for Westinghouse electric & manufacturing co., newark, new jersey. appears to have been published in 1916, by the eddy press corporation, in pittsburgh, pa. the handbook is intended to give complete technical information on Westinghouse watthour meters. the first chapter details the historical development of meter technology, as well as the company’s history. features 139 pages of detailed black and white illustration of meters and functional diagrams. in the back is an index, a list of westinghouse sales offices across the country, and a list of westinghouse products. the handbook is bound with brown cloth and the company’s logo appears on both front and back cover. it is intact and in very good condition, with only a little edgewear. the front endpaper has handwriting from previous owner. measures 4 ¼ x 7 1/8 inches.
