exceptional turn of the century (1899-1910) original wood-framed sepia-toned gelatin silver print of an interior sign shop studio photographed by john a. gunderson of winona, mn. the sign shop features a number of elegantly designed painted wood, gesso and/or tin signs displayed against a wall containing a richly textured wallpaper. the enameled black frame is believed to be original. the print is mounted on a heavy card stock with photographers studio stamped in bottom left corner.
