rare and original antique c. 1920's cast brass doorknob fabricated by the sargent hardware company for holabird and roche's palmer hotel

single hard to find and all original early twentieth century heavy cast brass entry size doorknob designed and fabricated by the sargent hardware company for the palmer hotel. the central area features a symmetrical four-leaf floral pattern around a single colorless jewel. the edge of the knob is bordered by an elegant scrolling design. the knob is intact and largely retains plating. the third palmer house hotel (located on the site of the previous two) was completed between 1923-1925 by holabird and roche.
