original and largely intact oversized c. 1940's mobile scrap metal mobile cart or bin salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory (formerly a standard oil of indiana administration building), located on the west side of chicago. the weathered and worn four-sided wood cart contains a single spacious compartment use for transporting scrap metal within the factory complex. the highly distressed yellow paint finish (bearing the identification number "102") remains mostly intact. the original reinforced bassick steel swivel casters are fully functional. measures 38 1/2 x 25 x 17 1/2 inches.
