original matching c. 1900's late american victorian era stamped metal interior residential passage door backplates likely fabricated by russwin or sargent. the ornamental metal doorknob backplates retain the original (and highly desirable) oxidized copper finish. each backplate contains four screw holes, a single skeleton keyhole and a wrought steel thimble or collar. measure approximately 8 x 2 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
