original turn of the century antique american industrial fanciful refinished cast iron three-legged occasional table with outswept feet

c. 1900-10 original and intact american antique industrial refinished c. 1900's stationary solidly-built cast iron occasional table with a distinctive three-legged cast iron base with outswept feet. the low-lying cast iron base was designed and fabricated by the chicago hardware foundry company, chicago, il. the round wood top consists of pine wood, but can be easily removed/replaced with any other suitable material. the three integrated iron legs have been thoroughly cleaned, brushed and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the heavy gauge wrought iron circular-shaped rim, designed to support the tabletop, is riveted firmly against each leg. great overall condition. the table was formerly used in an old ice cream parlor. the original top would have been a marbleized, or perhaps solid white "sani" vitrolite top. measures 23 x 29 1/2 x 20 1/4 inches.
