early 20th century vintage american made industrial heavy duty factory office cabinet and/or side table possibly made by the globe wernicke co., cincinnati, oh. retains the original cast bronze shoes tightly affixed to each of the slightly tapered square post legs. sound and sturdy construction throughout. comprised of birch and mahogany wood. the hinged cabinet door contains a single recessed panel with chamfered edges. spacious interior compartment. salvaged from the central wire co. factory, located in chicago, il. measures 22 x 18 x 31 inches.
