original and intact american made vintage industrial "simmons" pressed and folded cold-rolled steel stationary student desk or side table fabricated between 1935-40 by the simmons mfg. co., kenosha, wi. the brushed metal desk contains a single long and narrow pull-out drawer with original pressed steel knob or drawer pulls. the desk is supported by four tubular square post legs with opposed stretchers supporting an undershelf. structurally sound and sturdy throughout. measures 32 x 19 x 29 inches.
