single c. 1930's original and intact antique american medical pressed and folded lightweight steel chicago hospital operating room mobile side table designed and manufactured by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the four-legged tubular steel table or workstation has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat finish. the heavy gauge steel detachable tabletop with a porcelain or vitreous enameled finish over metal is original to the medical furniture piece. the three-sided railguard is bolted tightly against the sides of the table or desk frame. the single pull-out or sliding drawer is original with intact streamlined style handle or pull. the steel undershelf provides added storage space and base reinforcement . the lightweight antique american medical cabinet is structurally sound and sturdy. measures 20 x 17 x 36 inches.
