fully functional turn of the century original american medical oversized ornamental cast iron combination swivel bracket and hook designed and fabricated by or for the fuller & fuller co., chicago, il. the heavy duty cast iron bracket with hook was originally used to support glass show globes filled with brightly colored water. the show globes were often found in the display windows of drugstores across america. the bracket retains the original wall-mount bracket with single steel rod pin containing acorn finials. faint traces of the original brass-plated finish evident. the perforated swinging arm with hook contain foliated scrollwork. great overall condition, considering age. the bracket arm measure 15 1/4 inches in length. the wall-mount base plate measures 6 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches.
