all original, intact, and nicely aged late 19th century figural copper exterior residential copper dragon head drainage gutter spout designed and fabricated by the notable chicago-based friedley-voshardt company. their extensive catalog includes full-bodied statuary, weathrvanes, signage, cornices and so on. the diminutive gutter spout was salvaged from a chicago mansion constructed in the late 1890's. the heavily oxidized patina - transforming the copper into a brilliant green has been left intact. the front and back contain an opening for water drainage. the figural spout has detailed and deeply embossed facial features with sunken eyes. remarkable chicago residential architectural fragment.
