all original antique american late 1920's ornamental cast brass interior residential pendant light salvaged from a chicago bungalow residence. the unique single light fixture retains the original frosted glass cylindrical shade concealing the light source. the top and bottom components are held together with four elegant twist motif rods with threaded tapped brass balls or finials. the original solid brass metal bottom finial remains intact. chain and pressed brass canopy original to the fixture. contains a keyless incandescent socket with period lamp cord. likely fabricated by the harry alter lighting co., chicago, il. original antique gold enameled finish intact. measures 5 x 29 inches.
