original american depression-era brushed cold-rolled steel stationary compartmentalized medical cabinet with black vitrolite glass top surrounded by three-sided railguard. the robust medical cabinet retains the original vitrolite glass top free from cracks or breaks. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat finish. the multiple drawers and cabinet doors retain the original pulls. the antique american medical cabinet was fabricated by or for the frank s. betz company, hammond, ind. the cabinet contains a incised brass inventory tag identified as the fisher body division, general motor works. it may have been repurpsoed for use at their plant.
